CURUFC MEMBERSHIP

CURUFC welcomes one and all to become members. There are different categories of membership with different benefits. Some categories of membership are reserved for particular individuals such as alumni or former players.

All members receive regular emails from the club keeping them updated with fixtures, scores, Varsity, tickets and anything else happening around the club. All members can apply for Varsity Matches tickets via the club so you can sit in the CURUFC reserved area with fellow Light Blue supporters on the day. You will also have the opportunity to purchase Steele-Bodger tickets which are not sold to the public.

(1) Supporter member

The Supporter membership is free and is aimed at all supporter of the club including University alumni, anyone who was involved in rugby either at CURUFC or college-level and those who would like to come along to the Varsity Matches to support the Light Blues.

As described above a Supporter will get regular mailings and direct access to Varsity Match and Steele-Bodger tickets. For further information please go to the Supporter Application Form.

(2) Annual Associate
Our Associate membership is for those who wish to purchase added benefits to those described above. Included in the price is free access to the stands at Grange Road for regular in-season club matches, discounted tickets for the Steele-Bodger match, and the opportunity to apply for international tickets at Twickenham. (3) Rugby Blues
All Blues become members for life and have specific benefits and responsibilities. If you would like more information about this category, please contact Fabia Howell (admin@curufc.com).

(4) Other
There are specific categories reserved for current committee members and for those who have been elected by the AGM for special service to CURUFC.

DATA PROTECTION

Pursuant to the 1998 and 2018 Data Protection Acts the data at the Cambridge University Rugby Union Club’s (CURUFC) office is held securely, in its EU-based servers. All data will be treated confidentially and with sensitivity for the benefit of CURUFC, its associated subsidiaries (CURUFC Sports & Social Limited and CURUFC Trading Limited), its supporters and members. Selected data is available to the University, Colleges and occasionally to recognised alumni societies, volunteers and agents contracted by CURUFC for specific alumni/supporter-related projects. Data is used for a full range of CURUFC supporter and alumni activities, including the sending of CURUFC publications, the promotion of benefits and services to members, the notification of members’ events and the raising of funds for CURUFC, all of which might include an element of direct marketing. Under the terms of both the 1998 and 2018 Data Protection Acts, you have the right to object to the use of your data for any of these purposes.
