CURUFC have just heard the sad news that John Little, the former CU Association Football Cub President, died last Wednesday. John was a huge support for the football club for many years being the sole senior member on their committee, as well as representing them on the FA.
CURUFC worked closely with John on Cambridge University Rugby Union and Association Football Trust Ltd which owns the Grange Road ground. He was delighted with the construction of the AGP something that had been discussed for nearly a decade and which allows football to be played once again at Grange Road. John was a football blue in the early seventies and played at Grange Road – rugby blues from that time will no doubt remember him. He later became a fellow at St Catherine’s.
