The CURUFC women defeated the University of Bath 24-0 last night in an emphatic victory that secured their position in the BUCS Premier (South) division. The light blues were forced to work for their points, in a competitive encounter with plenty of endeavour and more than a few handling errors on display. The CURUFC women were always the dominant team, and were slightly frustrated at times by their inability to click together in attack.
This result concludes a busy and enjoyable season for both the CURUFC women and the club as a whole. A number of the men’s players will be participating in the Cuppers fixtures over the coming weekend and then all eyes will turn to preparations for the 2023/24 season.
